If you happen to be in Cebu in January, make time for the annual Sinulog celebration. Sinulog celebrates the miraculous image of Santo Nino, the patron of Cebu. At this annual cultural and religious celebration, the whole island takes a break from daily life and participates in a week-long series of events that culminates in the final Grand Parade that takes place on the third Sunday of January.
